Originator of the flat trigger shoe for the AR15 mil spec trigger
This is a common question that we receive. And is often seen in social media posts. Typically the person saying it is unfamiliar with their firearm. They are confusing the part that contacts the finger as being responsible for that "good pull". In actuality that "good pull" is a product of the trigger mechanism that is located in the rear of the Canik firearm. And the part that we offer can be referred to as the "trigger shoe". Which can enhance that "good pull" by offering a smaller operating envelope helping to reduce excessive movement. As well as different finger interface shapes and colors. But changing the trigger shoe will not lighten the pull nor change the reset. Those things are established and controlled by the design of the firearm trigger mechanism in the rear portion of the frame. And not by a trigger shoe that can only rotate about an axis and is connected to the trigger mechanism by an action bar.
All of our products are sulfuric acid anodized for a finish over the aluminum. The colors vary from one batch to the next. Different suppliers do not always utilize the same coloring products. Also dyeing the colors is not an exact science. The photos in the website also may depict different colors due to lighting or reflections.
There is no attempt made to match the colors of any existing accessories on your firearms.
We recommend a ceracoat finisher if an exact color match is desired.
That is easy to know. Simply look at the left side of your slide to read the model. If your firearm is an "Elite" model, ANY Elite model ("TP9 Elite SF", "TP9 Elite Executive", "TP9 Elite Combat" or "TP9 Elite SC") . Then order one that states it will fit Elite models.
Or if the slide shows it to be a "Rival" model, ANY Rival model (ALL "Rival" model variants including the "Rival S). Then that gun needs a trigger that is described as fitting a "Rival" model.
If your slide shows the gun to be a "Mete" model, ANY "Mete" model (including the "METE MC9 L, MC9 LS & MC9). That gun requires a trigger that is stated to fit the "Mete" models. The TTI Combat is included in this group also.
That leaves the "TP9" models (NOT "TP9 Elite models, use "Elite for those). Then choose a trigger that is described to fit the "TP9 SFX", "TP9 SF", "TP9 SFL", etc...
Use the "categories" drop down menu and choose the group that you need.
A basic description for our available triggers for the Canik would be;
ALL OF THESES HAVE IDENTICAL PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS. ONLY THE FINGER INTERFACE AND SHAPES ARE DIFFERENT IN ORDER TO GIVE YOU A BROAD ARRAY TO CHOOSE FROM.
"Fat Daddy" and "Fat Daddy ll" styles. These are our widest triggers @.421 wide front face. The differences are the two additional angles on the "Fat Daddy II" profile compared to the full flat face of the "Fat Daddy". The "Fat Daddy Classic" has the same attributes of the "Fat Daddy" but with a curved face. Many prefer the traditional feel of the curved trigger. These three styles of triggers are very wide and NOT recommended for small hands or short fingers.
The "Tangent" and "Master" styles are similar to the "Classic", being a curved style, but with heavily relieved sides. Narrow width front face. "Tangent" has a narrow tip while the "Master" has a wide flared tip.
"Racer" & "Champion" styles are flat and flat with two angles respectively. Having side relief with a wide bottom hook
"Vanguard" and "Pro" styles have a more narrow face (@.275 front face at the relief area and still .421 overall) for those that do not desire the wider Fat Daddy . The "Pro" has two additional profile angles to assist in consistent finger placement while the Vanguard is flat with a minimal bottom hook.
The "Pinnacle Pro" style will incorporate the side profile of the "Pro" style, but with a medium width face (.375 wide) with a tapered back side and same bottom hook angle as the "Pro".
The "Zombie Pro" style differs from the "Pro" only in that it has a curve at the top that transitions into a flat with a more pronounced hook on the tip and is only available in solid colors. Utilizing a .275 narrow width front face with heavy side beveling. For when a more snug consistent finger placement is desired.
The "Sport" and "Sport Dominator" style have a generous curve at the top that flows into a medium width flat surface with no bottom hook at all. The "Sport" back side is angled similar to the "Pinnacle Pro".
Since ALL are equal in performance aspects, we do not recommend one over another for a particular endevor. That will be your individual choice based on your personal preference.
A roll pin is pressed half way to allow action bar to be inserted prior to pressing the pin completely.
Our available inventory is on the website under the category for the specific model of Canik that you have. (They are not interchangeable between all models.)
#1"Do you have a trigger for my Canik SA mod2 ?" Yes we do. Any trigger that we offer as fitting the "TP9 SFX" models will also fit your SA Mod 2 (but it will NOT fit a non MOD 2 SA model). If your pistol does not have "Mod 2" on the side, it is not a Mod 2.

It totally depends on the gun and the person doing the installation due to the complicated nature of the firearm design. It will depend on the experience and/or ability of your installer. Some report doing it in 15 minutes. Others need all day. Please have a qualified gunsmith do your Canik trigger installation for your safety and to protect your firearm from damage. Also proper tools are required. For reasons of varying degrees of complexity and safety we always recommend that installations be done by a qualified gunsmith.
Important Notice for Canik S (steel frame) pistols.
Before installing a new trigger in your steel frame Canik. Insure that the opening where the trigger fits is free from burrs and sharp edges. These must be removed. We also recommend polishing those surfaces in order to prevent cutting into the new trigger. That can cause a rough feeling trigger pull if not addressed properly.
We recommend that you stay away from the wide face triggers. Such as the "Fat Daddy', "Fat Daddy II" and "Classic". Since the wide face will make the "reach" feel greater. All other trigger versions have some amount of side relief. The "pull" length is identical to all. So there is not any shorter or longer than any other.
